The Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) model can be applied to study the plume/jet structures of the solar-system bodies such as comets, Enceladus and Europa. This model can describe the gas plumes with a broad flow regime ranging from close to continuum near the surface to free-molecular condition at higher altitudes. With the DSMC results of the gas number density, temperature and velocity information of the outgassing activity at various scales, we will incorporate with a non-LTE radiative transfer model to simulate the plume/jet morphology which could be observed in the sub-millimeter and millimeter wavelengths.
