IRAS 16293-2422, consisting of two protostars with distinct spectral line features, is a well known hot corino that possesses many organic molecular lines and is great for studying thermal conditions of their disks. Earlier studies have suggested the two protoplanetary disks show distinct kinematics and different thermal conditions, perhaps due to age difference. The goal of this study is to extract essential information of the two protostellar disks as a first step for later comparison studies with detailed radiative transfer models. This project will process the nearly released ALMA Science Verification data in Band 4 in addition to the available Band 6 and Band 9 data. The student will have chances to reduce the ALMA data in our latest project on high-mass binary system.
